Introduction to Airbrushing and Weathering-Hosted by Chris Holmes(Ruinstorm Studios)(Event ticket for 10/4/26)

October 4th, 10:30 am – 4:30 pm

This class will cover the basics of airbrushing; how the airbrush works, thinning your paints, applying gradients, troubleshooting, using inks, cleaning and maintenance of your brush. Basic weathering techniques will be covered using sponges and the airbrush.

Oil and enamel weathering classes will be available at a later date.

Required materials:
• Airbrush *
• Compressor with hose
• Paints (no Tamiya or enamels)
• Thinner
• Large plastic cup for disposal
• Brushes
• One rhino sized model, primed black. (Any tank or shipping container model of relative size will work)
• One space marine model, primed black.

* There will be two airbrush sets available for people that do not have a set up. Please email chris@ruinstormstudio.com before purchasing your ticket to confirm availability of the sets.
