Mars has fallen. Forgefanes lie in ruins, storehouses burn, and scrap code screams into the aether, jagged tendrils of corruption seeking to colonize the rest of the Sol System.
All is ruin, but opportunities remain - forces loyal to the Emperor hold the Ring of Iron - Mars’ orbital belt of space stations, graving docks, and defenses - but Kelbor Hal’s New Mechanicum hold the surface… or most of it.
Loyalist holdouts in the Hellespontus Montes raid fallen forges dotted around the Helles Planitia while Traitor forces mass, consolidating and preparing for the final push to conquer Mars. The great forges of the north belong to the New Mechanicum - but who will control Mars’ southern hemisphere?
This event will run for multiple rounds which will last 2 weeks each.
Starting June 1st and going until August 31st
Players can get up to 2 games per game system per round and are encouraged to throw in some Titanicus on top of their games of Horus Heresy.
Results of these games will directly impact the campaign as a whole as well as impact the growth of their forces as they fight for survival.
This campaign will use the Crusade rules attached as a general guide and some mechanics will be used and some wont (These will be stated at the start of the campaign)
Players should expect to build for flavor and pick out at least 3 units of their units they'd like to focus their narratives on. This would only apply to the games of horus heresy.
The first round will start at a points limit of 1000 for both systems.
