Horus Heresy THE BADAB WAR: TAXGIVING 2025 (Ticket for 4/19/2025)

Welcome to Taxgiving! The plan is to host this as an annual Badab War event for charity. The 2025 donation recipient will be the Anderson Center for Autism in Staatsburg, NY.

Depending on interest and preference, we will either be organizing a megabattle or a series of historical refight scenarios centered around the Siege of the Palace of Thorns.

For 2025, we will kick this off with a series of 2v2 scenarios, aimed at giving folks a chance to build their collections a bit. There will be two main rounds during which players will be paired up, fielding 1500 point lists each (Secessionists will each be running 1000 point lists for Fortress Assault). Lists may be tailored to each mission. The final mission – for folks sticking around – is a 400 point Zone Mortalis brawl where each player is encouraged to bring one HQ and one infantry unit. We will be raffling off prizes between the second round and the final mission!

100% of every ticket sale will be donated to charity. In addition, the following options will be available on the day of the event:

• Additional Force Org Slots – Additional HQ, Fast Attack, or Heavy Support slots ($5 each)

•Relics of the Chapter – additional allowances for a Relic of the Chapter are permitted ($5 each)
